The Miami County Economic Development Authority (MCEDA) is the single economic development entity in Miami County, Indiana. The community, located in North Central Indiana, is within one day's driving distance to 65 percent of the U. S. population. It is also home to the Grissom Aeroplex, North Miami Industrial Park and Peru Industrial Park. Miami County is on the move, pro-business oriented and eager to build on the foundation that already exists. There is more than
1 million square feet of modern office, retail, warehouse and industrial
space at the Aeroplex.
By land, the Aeroplex is within one day's drive of 65 percent
of the U.S. population and several of the nation's largest seaports. This solid
transportation network includes four-lane highways, rail access
and general aviation airports. This makes Grissom Aeroplex the best
connected community in North Central Indiana.
A “Joint Use” agreement between the United States Air Force (USAF) and the Miami County Economic
Development Authority (MCEDA) authorizes civilian use of the Grissom Airfield for Air Cargo, Aircraft
Maintenance, Manufacturing or Modification activities, and Corporate/Business aircraft operations in connection with
the Grissom Aeroplex. Adjacent to the Grissom Airfield is the Grissom Aeroplex. The Grissom Aeroplex is owned
by MCEDA and includes over 1,700 square foot of hangar space, over 1 million square foot of aircraft ramp space,
and a 360-acre “Shovel Ready” Aviation/Industrial park with direct RWY/TWY access. For more information
