    Peru Operations - Serves approximately 5,097 customers, generally within the corporation boundaries of the City of Peru. Raw water is obtained from the Teays River Aquifer by 4 wells having a maximum capacity of 9.5 million gallons per day. The treatment plant has a maximum capacity of 4 million gallons per day. The Peru Operations has a total of 3.35 million gallons of treated water storage capacity.

    Grissom Aeroplex Operations - Serves approximately 882 customers within the boundaries of the former Grissom Air Force Base. Raw water is obtained from three wells having a maximum capacity of 3 million gallons per day. The water treatment plant has a maximum capacity of 2 million gallons per day. The Grissom Aeroplex Operations has a total of 2.1 million gallons of treated water storage capacity.

Wastewater Collection and Treatment

    Peru Operations - Serves approximately 5,031 customers, generally within the corporation boundaries of the City of Peru. The Department operates and maintains 85 miles of sewer collection system, most of which are combined sanitary and storm sewers, as well as an activated sludge wastewater treatment plant rated at a maximum capacity of 4.0 million gallons per day.


    Grissom Aeroplex Operations - Serves approximately 879 customers within the boundaries of the former Grissom Air Force Base. The Department operates and maintains approximately 35 miles of sanitary sewers and 30 miles of storm sewers. Wastewater treatment is provided by sequencing batch reactor rated at 1 million gallons per day and a conventional activated sludge facility rated at 2 million gallons per day.
